Grenfell will stage this year's deciders, with the Cup competition again running first grade, youth league and league tag competitions that will culminate on September 12.
The Canowindra Tigers are currently favourites to take out the competition with three rounds of the regular season remaining.
Henry Lawson Oval was locked in as the location following Woodbridge Cup committee meeting this week.
It'll be Grenfell's first grand final since 2014.
Cup boss Andrew Pull said hosting rights for the grand final are shared around the competing clubs and an early decision is always made to ensure the winning bid has enough time to get their grounds up to scratch.
Pull, though, said there would be no drama at Grenfell.
"They've got great facilities out there; they recently had new sheds and change rooms put in, last year, it's a great spot," Pull said.
QUOTE
"And club-wise, it's a good chance for them to build up some fundraising and build back up for next year.
"But generally we give the club hosting a grand final as much time as possible, because it'd put a bit of pressure on clubs to get their grounds ready with fencing and what not if it was just a week's notice."
He said the rest of the Woodbridge Cup finals series will adopt a Group 9 style format.
Teams two and four will host the qualifying and elimination finals respectively, but then won't host another semi-final thereafter, regardless of results.
The other hosting rights in weeks two and three will be shared around the other clubs competing in the finals.
The Woodbridge Cup finals series will begin on Saturday, August 21.
The competition will resume this weekend with round 16 following last week's cancelled games due to the stay-at-home orders in force across Cabonne. Five clubs - Molong, Manildra, Canowindra, Cargo and Eugowra - are within that Local Government Area.
Defending champs Trundle travels to Jack Huxley Oval on Saturday to take on the second-placed Rhinos at Manildra to headline round 16. Molong plays Eugowra in another big game.
The Tigers haven't been able to train over the past week because of the stay at home orders imposed on Cabonne, Orange and Blayney Shires, with coach Kevin Grimshaw seizing the opportunity to give his side the time off.
"At this time of the year it works out well for us with a big back end of the year coming up.
"We've got to play Manildra still after this week, they're running second so it will be a good challenge for us.
"And then our last game is against Eugowra which is their 100 year celebration day in Eugowra, that is going to be huge for them. We've got a big campaign."

Goannas back at Lawson Park this Sunday
After round 15 of the Woodbridge Cup was cancelled last weekend due to the Orange/Cabonne COVID lockdown the competition will be back in action this weekend (round 16) after the lockdown ceased on Tuesday evening.
Officials were left with little choice to cancel round 15 as 5 of the 9 Woodbridge Cup clubs (Canowindra, Cargo, Eugowra, Manildra, Molong) are in the Orange/Cabonne Local Shires.
Grenfell will host the Canowindra Tigers in all three grades at Lawson Oval this Sunday with Youth League kicking off at 11.20am followed by League Tag at 12.40pm and First Grade at 2.00pm.
It should be a good day of footy as we will see the current ladder leaders in the three grades go around.
The Canowindra Youth League boys have all but sewn up the Minor Premiership with their only loss of the year coming in round 14 against Cargo.
In the League Tag clash we will see the unbeaten Grenfell Girlannas come up against the third placed Tigerettes and this should be a close tussle especially when you throw in the expected heavy conditions.
The First Grade match has the second last placed Goannas clashing with the unbeaten Tigers whose only slip up this season was a draw with Manildra when they blew a match winning lead late in the game.
The Grenfell boys have shown some good fight this season under difficult circumstances and they will need to show plenty of that fight on Sunday if they are to hold out the powerful Canowindra outfit.
REVERSE DRAW
Unfortunately we have had to cancel our annual and popular Reverse Draw fundraiser this year. The limitations and uncertainties created by COVID are the reasons for the cancellation.
TWO HUNDRED CLUB
As an alternative to our Reverse Draw fundraiser we are going to run a Two Hundred Club.
We are selling 200 tickets and the prizemoney will be split as follows: $1500 First, $750 Second, $250 Third and there will also be 10 ($500 total) draws of $50 each.
The draw will take place at the Grenfell Bowling Cub at 6pm on Saturday 14th August after our Indigenous round clash with the Peak Hill Roosters.
This is NOT a reverse draw and so it is the first number drawn out that takes first prize and the second number drawn out takes second prize and so on until all 13 numbers are drawn.
You get to choose your own number if it has not already been taken by somebody else so get in early if you want a specific number.
To purchase a number or if you require any further information please contact Dan Harveyson on 0497 264 892.

HARNESS RACING
It wasn't to be for Grenfell Trainer Mark Hewitt on Wednesday night when he contested one race at the Bathurst Paceway.
In cold and wet conditions Hewitt's only horse for the night ran in race eight of the ten race programme.
Eye See Eye owned by Jackie Gibson and trained and driven by Hewitt was to start from the second row, however the filly was hot as the field moved in behind the barrier and broke into a gallop meaning she couldn't take any competitive part in the race.
The three-year-old had been the favourite earlier in the week with odds moving to $4.60 just before the race.
The Somebeachsomewhere USA foal seemed to be finding her stride prior to this race, winning in Cowra over 1700m and placing second in Bathurst over 1730m in June before a fifth, third and second place in July showing she would have been very competitive if she had have been able to race.
Hewitt will be brushing it all off however with the trainer heading to Parkes on Friday night with three horses. Sporty Mickilla will be facing off against fellow Grenfell trained horse Holy Camp Paxton for Robert Anderson in Race one while Hewitt has also entered Girl Just Fly in Race seven and Maudies Delight in Race eight.
