The Western Region CHS Squash team were on the podium at the recent NSW Combined High Schools Squash Championships held at Coffs Harbour.

Amber and Hayley Taylor and Riley Aspin from The Henry Lawson High School had all gained selection in the strong Western Region team, collecting a clean sweep of medals over the course of the championships.
Amber Taylor as part of the Under 13's team continued her good form to date, helping the team to win the gold medal.
The team from North Sydney being down a player, put out the call for a spare player and Hayley Taylor was on hand to fill the vacant spot. Showing her prowess on the squash court, Hayley and the North Sydney girls took home the silver medal in the Under u15's girl's teams competition.
Not to be outdone, Riley Aspin as part of the Western Region boy's team was also amongst the medals, bringing home a bronze.
Amber Taylor impressed the selectors gaining selection in the NSW CHS Under 15's girls team however due to the current COVID-19 situation, the 2021 national championships have been cancelled.
The squash trio will now travel to Thornleigh on 28 and 29 August to represent the Grenfell Squash Club at the NSW State Titles each vying for a spot in the NSW State Team.
