Organiser Donna Pursehouse said they have had a variety of dishes win the top place in the event including chilli crab, cheesburger soup and coconut rice.
The dishes will be judged by a panel of six judges, with all entries to be judged from 5.30pm.
Mrs Pursehouse said they will be starting the camp fires around 8am to get them hot enough for cooking, with gates opening at 12pm and a variety of fun games and activities starting 1pm.
It is a gold coin donation for general entry and $10 to enter in the cook-off. Participants are asked to bring their own camp oven and ingredients. There will be plenty of fun games and activities including a kids Billy Boiling competition, a Gumboot throwing competition and tug-of-war.
Now in its sixth year, the event raises funds for the maintenance of the Caragabal Memorial Hall.
