The workshop will be held in the Community Hub Building and all Weddin based business owners and staff representatives are encouraged to attend.
The session will be presented by Bruce Buchanan, a café owner from South West Rocks on the NSW north coast. Bruce is excited to return to Weddin after previously serving the region for many years as a business advisor with the Business Enterprise Centre. Bruce has firsthand experience in offering amazing customer service while navigating the challenges of modern-day small business.
Weddin is seeing an increase in visitor numbers as a result of the ongoing international border closures. This means we are seeing more visitors than we are accustomed to, as well as visitors with no prior experience of travelling in, or the culture of, regional NSW. It is important to be aware of the presence of these visitors in Main Street.
These increased customer numbers combined with the app based Service NSW sign in procedure, means compliance is variable. This combined with enhanced compliance checks by the State Government, is putting additional burden on business owners and staff who are already stretched.
The workshop will provide you with tips and tricks on how to make the COVID compliance part of running your business just a little bit easier, while still giving all customers, including both locals and visitors, an excellence experience that will generate positive word of mouth and keep them coming back to your business and our shire.
Businesses including professional, personal and all service industries, not just Main Street retail and hospitality, will benefit from this session and are encouraged to send a representative.
A light supper will be provided. RSVP essential by 11th June to 6343 2855 or edo@grenfell.org.au.
