Leading up to the game Coach Dixon had his team training hard and aiming to fix little parts of the Panthers game.
With a few of the experienced key players out due to work and other commitments some younger blokes were given a chance in the top grade.
The first half started with the Panthers receiving the ball, a couple of good forward runs and a nice kick down field from Scott McKellar. This was all part of the plan constructed during the week, to keep the ball out of our end and to take points when we can.
The half time break came with the score at 12-6 to Temora.
The Panthers came out very keen in the second half. After good pressure from the kick chases the Panthers forced a knock on from the Temora side.
The Panthers scored a try and at last seemed to be getting on top of the Tuskers, but ran out of time. The final whistle sounded with a win to Temora 12-11.
Points went to Jim McClelland, Matt Randall and Tim brown. Players player was Jarrad Wilson.
This weekend the Panthers are at home against the Condobolin rams.
