The NSW Seniors Festival theme for this year is 'In Our Nature' and will run from April 13 to April 24.
Meals on Wheels Grenfell and Cowra in conjunction with the NSW Government are holding an event on Wednesday April 21 at the Grenfell Bowling Club to celebrate our local senior residents.
The whole community is invited to head along to the event and enjoy a two course meal, some great company and entertainment by the Grenfell Preschool.
"We are welcoming all seniors in our shire, the mayor will be there to say a few words, some preschool kids are coming to entertain us and support the day and the Bowling Club are a great sponsor on the day," Meals on Wheels coordinator Denise Makin said.
Anyone wishing to attend needs to RSVP to Meals on Wheels by phoning 63432233 by Wednesday April 14, 2021.
The event will start at the Grenfell Bowling Club from 11am, tickets cost $10 per person.
There will be plenty of information for seniors, a raffle, lucky door prize and plenty more throughout the event.
Please advise if you require transport or any special dietary requirements when you RSVP.
