The night started with everyone catching before firing up the barbecue.
The BBQ followed by deserts was enjoyed by all
After the cutting of his beautiful cake made by Wilder's Bakery in Young, Peter thanked everyone for attending and assisting on the night.
Peter and Wendy's children Harrison, Taylor and Will were wonderful hosts during the evening.
Peter's sisters Jude from Coff's Harbour, Sue from Canberra, Catherine from Parkes and Denise from Grenfell were in attendance. Unfortunately, his sister Alison from Adelaide and his brother Michael from Spring Hill were unable to make it.
A great night was had by all reliving "old" times.
Celebrations continued Sunday morning with breakfast at Unwind before the travellers had to head home.
MEN'S SHED COFFEE MORNING: The Grenfell Men's Shed will be hosting a coffee morning Wednesday March 10 where everyone is invited to come along, have a look around and enjoy a chat over coffee or tea.
You may wish to join the Men's Shed in the future, but not do any of the manual activities.
The purpose of Men's Shed around Australia is to have a place to go where men may socialise in a non-threatening environment. The Men's Shed is situated adjacent to the Railway Station and they look forward to welcoming you there any time between 10am and 12 noon.

Just too good not to share (especially for those who do not have social media)
ART GALLERY: The latest exhibition at the Grenfell Art Gallery "A Colourful Palette" by Paul McKnight will open tonight Friday March 05 from 5.30pm - 7pm.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions numbers are limited of people who may attend the opening, making RSVP's essential.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER: St Joseph's Parish is hosting the annual World day of Prayer Service today Friday March 05 at 5pm in the church.
The country featured this year is Vanuatu.

THLHS REUNION: Calling all ex-students of The Henry Lawson High School Classes beginning in 1966 in Form 1 (Year 7) as we call our classes back then through to the HSC Class of 1971 and including School Certificate Class of 1969 and all Classes leading up to those years Form 2 (Year 8) and Form 3 (Year 9) for a reunion.
Last week three photos from three classes in 1966 were published - today you will find some more as promised. You will have to identify yourselves!
The Reunion will be held in Grenfell over the October long weekend 2021. This is just in case there maybe people who have not been contacted by the organising committee.

AGAINST VIOLENCE: reminder Grenfell Bag a Bargain Day will be held Saturday March 20 from 9am - 3pm in the Uniting Church Hall.
Fill a bag for not a shopping bag - but a garbage bag for $10. Clothes for Women, Men, Teenagers and children. Morning tea available @ small cost.

STREET STALLS: Volunteer groups are happy now that street stalls are now able to be held in the Main Street.
Today, March 05 will be the Hospital/MPS Auxiliary is conducting their Street Stall outside IGA and Friday March 12 and Saturday March 13 - St Joseph's Parish.
Please support these organisations who in turn support the community.
