Things are certainly heating up on the Grenfell Tennis Club Courts with Round Six of the Men's Autumn Competition played this week.

Round six of the Men's Autumn competition was played on Tuesday evening at the Grenfell Tennis Club.
The sixth round means we are halfway through our Autumn competition.
There was only one game separating the top two pairs.
The top pair were Graham Watt and Pat Hazell with a score of 23 games which were 7-1, 5-3, 6-2, 5-3.
Following closely behind were Ringo Walker and Rod Fruedenstien with 22 games their sets were 3-5, 7-1, 8-0, 4-4.
Next came Grant Fisher and Arnold Brown with a score of 19 games being 7-1, 5-3, 3-5, 4-4.
Further back were Rick Power and John Walsmley with 10 games followed by Anthony Newton and John Richens with six games.
Anthony was filling for Stuart McKellar and Grahame Edwards had the bye.
Round seven will be played on Tuesday March 9 weather permitting.
Don't forget Social tennis is played at the Grenfell Tennis Club each Thursday morning starting from around 8am.
Players of all levels are invited to join in and have a hit on the courts.
