Cr O'Byrne requested that Council carry out a road safety audit on the full length of the Adelargo Rd in conjunction with the planned replacement of culverts.
"If there's any money left over from the replacement of culverts we could talk to James (Rath - director of engineering) that they just carry out a safety audit for the widening of the areas that are a little bit dangerous for the people living on there," Cr O'Byrne said.
The Adelargo Rd is well known in the area as being a 'bit of a goat track' with it's single lane and large drop off on the edges.
"The residents of the area are worried and the views from the trees around corners, they can't see vehicles and it's all just a safety issue."
Cr O'Byrne's motion was seconded by Cr Diprose before passing unopposed.
Cr Best left the room prior to the motion as he had declared an interest in the subject.
