As of Thursday morning the Bureau of Meteorology predicts a 'low-intensity' heat wave across Weddin and parts of Central and Western NSW for Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures are expected to hit 41 degrees Celsius on Saturday, 42 degrees Celsius on Sunday, 43 degrees Celsius on Monday and 41 degrees Celsius on Tuesday according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
NSW RFS is urging locals to use the next few days to plan and prepare and know what to do if threatened by fire.
