It was a Christmas to remember for Grenfell greyhound trainer Elizabeth Scott who prepared a quinella in the Young Cup on Boxing Day.

Billy Lobo ($2.80), a two-year-old daughter of Brad Hill Billy and Little Meeka, saluted in the $3000-to-the-winner South West Slopes Credit Union Young Cup (520m), edging out kennelmate Martin Lobo by a neck.

She clocked a slick 30.48s, posting her seventh career victory in the process.

Billy Lobo has an impressive record boasting five straight wins at Bathurst to start her career.

Since her win on Boxing Day she has recorded two fifths at Dubbo and Bathurst.

Emergency entry Oriental Zeal ($6) took out the Young Hotel Final (347m).

Trained by Dean Maniaci from Marulan, the daughter of Barcia Bale and Orientel Jewal stopped the clock in 20.21s, defeating race favourite Tikki for Glenn Schwencke.

Cowra trainer Rodney McDonald took the training honours registering four wins throughout the 10 race card.

Dana Dancer and Dana Nana went back-to-back for McDonald in races five and six, before Dana Wing and Dana Gertie did the same in the two final races.

Dana Nana has gone on to win at Nowra since Boxing Day.

Wombat trainer Gillian Apps scored a win for the locals with Brenny's Banquet recording her fifth career win.

Brenny's Banquet, a daughter of Paw Licking and Dainty Banquet, bolstered her strong record from only 12 career starts.

She also boasts two seconds along with five wins.

Other winners on the night included Tin Man for Dale Ashton from Murrumburrah, Ned's Reward for Glenn Schwencke from Leeton, and Fire Up Karen for trainer Gregory Derrick from Cootamundra.
