Prior to Christmas the final of the Singles was played between Sandy Paine and Rosemary Walter.
The win went to Rosemary.
The results for the Championships for 2020 were as follows;
Pairs Runners-up: Judy McAlister and Sue Gault, winners: Sandy Paine and Rosemary Walter.
The Singles as above: Runner-up Sandy Paine, Winner: Rosemary Walter.
The Committee thanks those who entered the championships and they will be held again this year.
The South West District Championships are open and the lists are on the board.
This is for Singles, Pairs, Triples, Fours and Mixed Pairs.
Your name and State I.D. number are required and entries close on 22nd January 2021.
Anyone who is interested please nominate as soon as possible.
The list is also on the board for the Towning Shield, to be played at Condobolin.
Evening social bowls will be beginning again tomorrow, Thursday 14th January, with names in by 5.30pm play to start at 6pm.
It would be good to see some new players along with our regulars.
Our District Internal Pennant will be starting on Saturday, 10th April, 2021.
I know this is a little in the future, however, it wont hurt to start practicing.
This pennant is restricted to the District and does not go to State.
It consists of two teams of triples and if we can't raise six ladies to play we can ask one or two of the men.
I would like , if we can , to field two ladies teams. Please help us do this as we DO have the numbers.
Also, I do have the 2021 State Membership Badges for; Beverly Coleman, Julie Hughes, Courtney Hunter, Tracey Hunter, Sonia Ingall, and Sandra Paine.
They are in my wallet, so please give me a reminder when you see me.
Good bowling all.
