Cowra finished the match 3/209 off 32 overs before dismissing West Wyalong for 37 off 13 overs.
"As coach I am very pleased with the performance and look forward to meeting Condobolin in Cowra in two weeks time," McDonald said.
An innings of 63 from Grenfell's Luke Beasley was the highlight of the Cowra innings.
Harry McDonald chimed in with an entertaining cameo of 46 with other excellent knocks from Nate Gunn (30) and Clayton Duclos (24).
Beasley was solid facing 85 balls whilst McDonald got going facing only 39 balls for his 46.
In reply West Wyalong were never in the hunt, all out for 37 with all of the Cowra players thrown the ball for at least one over.
"Special mention to the Woods sisters (Karly and Allie) who both took two wickets, along with Tyler Burns."
Harry McDonald, Clayton Duclos, Nate Gunn and Harry Beale also took wickets.
"Tight opening bowling by Harry (McDonald) and Clayton (Duclos) put West Wyalong on the back foot," McDonald said of the Cowra attack.
