Mitchell is the eldest son of former Grenfell resident Jeremy Ray and his wife Erin.
The family are now based in Dubbo but have spent the last 11 months living at Ronald McDonald House near Westmead Children's Hospital while Mitchell receives treatment.
Jeremy and Erin also have a little girl, Hannah who is 4 and Baby Connor who was born just four days after Mitchell was diagnosed at the start of the year.
Connor has had a rough start to life and has had to undergo treatment himself for severe Laryngomalacia however, his parents have reported he is doing much better at the moment.
Mitchell is still undergoing treatment to give his family precious extra time with him.
Nev and Emily donated a Full Dressed Lamb and then organised to raffle it.
The lucky winners of the raffle drawn on November 13 were Jude and Dave Bloomfield.
Mitchell's big cousins Lachlan and Hayden Rolls were on hand to draw the winning ticket.
The raffle raised $2343.70 for Mitchell and his family.
Nev and Emily would like to thank the Grenfell community and surrounding areas for supporting the fundraiser as well as the many local businesses who sold tickets over the past few weeks.
