Grenfell Community Health Service is very pleased to announce that its Aqua Fitness classes will commence on Tuesday November 10 at 10.30am for registration and the class will commence at 11am.
Grenfell Community Health Service advise that COVID-19 restrictions will be in place and will be discussed on registration so everyone will understand what that entails.
All equipment that is used will need to be cleaned by staff so therefore we encourage participants to purchase their own noodle to bring to the classes.
Registration forms for Aqua Fitness are available at the Grenfell Aquatic Centre as well as at Grenfell Community Health Centre.
It is very important for participants to please note that if they are unwell they should not attend classes and should be tested for COVID-19 for the protection of fellow classmates as well as the staff and instructors.
Aqua Fitness classes are free, however participants will be required to pay the entry fee to the pool or purchase a season pass from the Grenfell Aquatic Centre.
What is Aqua Fitness and what does it entail?
Aquatic exercise is a low-moderate impact activity that takes the pressure off your bones, joints and muscles.
It can also improve heart health, reduce stress and improve, muscular strength and endurance.
Any fitness level is catered for and you do not have to be a swimmer to participate.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate in contacting Grenfell Community Health Centre on 63491750.
Aqua Fitness is a fantastic way for locals to socialise and exercise at their own pace and in a non-strenuous environment.
It is a great way for people to get out and about, have some fun and meet with other like minded individuals.
