Family Fun Day postponed due to weather

Unfortunately due to wet weather the Grenfell Tennis Club has had to postpone its family tennis day to a date to be advised. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Another date to remember is the 11th October when the inter-town competition will recommence, all players please let Danny Joyce know of your availability to play on 0428436266.

Round ten of the men's competition was played on Tuesday evening with four of our "A" graders needing fill-ins, however play went on.

Top pair for the night were Charles Harvey and Mark Leibech with 26 games (Charles was filling in for Andrew Bucknell). Next was two pair on 23 games, they were Grahame Edwards and Chris Payne and David Mitton and Rick Power with David filling in for Trent McCann, then came Charlie Mitton and Arnold Brown on 16 games - Charlie was filling in for Grant Fisher - followed by Ringo Walker - filling in for Graham Watt - and John Walmsley on 12.

Social tennis was played on Thursday morning, we welcome Rod Frudenstein back on the court after recovering from surgery and look forward to him rejoining the Tuesday group again, we also wish Angela Ewing a speedy recovery from an ankle injury.
