Kelly has devoted her life to her kids, Brooke (at Uni), Bailey (living with a disability), Jack (in Year 2); worked through difficult times as a single mum, made Joel a happy husband and father and worked as a paramedic giving to her community.
"I honestly believe in paying it forward and Kelly has given a lot to others in her life so far, so help us pay it forward," Tabitha said.
They really would have loved to have everyone there to help Kelly Kick Kancer, but due to COVID restrictions they could only gather a small group at the actual event. They didn't want anyone to miss out on the fun, so they decided to run a raffle for your donations.
The head shave of Tab and her daughter Claudia and her daughter Zoe's donation of hair to make a Wig for Kids!! was live streamed on Saturday. Tabatha thanked the many businesses and friends who supported the fundraiser. It isn't too late to donate to support Kelly https://au.gofundme.com/f/kelly-kicks-kancer.
"I would just like to take a moment to thank my amazing second family. I'm so overwhelmed by people's generosity today, Tabitha, Dianne, Ted, and Toby Franks, Tessa Ziser and Kristen Leigh, you guys have gone above and beyond for me and my little family," Kelly said.
"I'm so, so grateful. Tab you and your beautiful girls sacrificed all your glorious hair for me and for all of you to organise such a special day just for me and my family is extraordinary...I will never forget it. I'm sorry I couldn't be there. My promise to you all is to fight my absolute hardest and live until I'm 80 - Love to you all."
