"A real and substantial danger exists that the obelisk and other plaques and other features which commemorate Grenfell as the birthplace of the national poet, Henry Lawson, may be vandalised by 'woke' liberals or extreme-left Trotskyites or anarchists," President of the Australia First Party Dr Saleam said.
According to Dr Saleam this is a decided 'culture war' attack upon the Australian identity.
"The use of an Aboriginal cover for this attack is cunning indeed," he said.
"Erasing the past, which is a sort of 'ethnic-cultural cleansing', benefits only those globalist forces which seek the obliteration of Australia's past that it may sink more easily into the globalist economic order."
Dr Saleam believes the possibility of roving gangs of vandals going from town to town and striking at night has already been discussed in certain anarchist circles.
"Australia First Party reasons that communities must form monitor-groups to protect Australia's heritage such that it really is 'kept in stone'," Dr Saleam said.
"Such groups may arise out of neighbourhood-watch networks, historical and heritage associations, veterans' organisations and other community groups, which together would represent a grass roots initiative across geographic areas and political cleavages.
"The culture-busters can be defeated!"
Dr Saleam is calling on locals to do something.
"I would call upon local people to create such a structure in Grenfell," he said.
According to Dr Saleam Grenfell residents bear an enormous responsibility far outside of regular policing to ensure the sanctity of their local history.
