He had a great day including pancakes for breakfast, chips and nuggets for dinner and a hulk cake! Harry enjoyed his "Isolate'' birthday with his parents Melissa Martens and Daniel Fanning and siblings Jack, Stella and Eedie

Jack Fanning celebrated his 6th birthday on May 02. He has had a great day too and received lots of pressies that should keep him busy. He requested pancakes for breakfast and pizza for dinner. When asked him if the cake was ok, he said "it's good.... enough"

Congratulations to Teddy Simpson who celebrated her 96th birthday on Monday May 18. Teddy celebrated quietly with her family but will make up for it after the 'stay at home' conditions are lifted.

Marie Kier was afforded a picnic lunch at O'Brien's Hill on Saturday May 16 to celebrate a belated birthday when outdoor number restrictions were lifted.

Marie who turned 90 years young on April 04 celebrated with great friends Glenys O'Connor, Marge Cross and Desiree Bottilier adhering to the distance rules.

Each morning Annette Katona enjoys a lovely walk around the streets, by-ways, and the bush around Quandialla. Like many Annette carries the camera with her and shoots most beautiful images.

"Getting for a walk in the fresh air is a most important for me. Seeing a Red Claret Ash tree in town one afternoon struck me enough to take a happy snap. I am running out of images on the same route, but the lighting can be different early morning and afternoons." Annette said.

Annette also provided photos of the decorated homes and mailboxes in Quandialla for ANZAC Day.

Declutter your wardrobe whilst in the 'stay at home' Covid-19 period and support the Grenfell Voices Against Violence annual 'Bag a Bargain' event. The committee once again need the community's support and are hoping to encourage everyone to declutter their wardrobes and drop off unwanted clothing to Grenfell Community Health.

A date for the "bargain day" will be set as soon as the lockdown period is over. For more information contact Community Health on 6349 1750.
