The Grenfell Girlannas will kick off their 2020 season this weekend when they compete in the Western Challenge in Canowindra.

The ladies will take to the field on Sunday against Molong, Condobolin, Orange Cyms, Forbes, Cowra, West Belconnen, Orange Barbarians, Manildra, Trundle, Orange Hawks, Parkes, Conwindra, Bathurst St Pats, Wellington and Orange United.
Grenfell is in Pool B against Cowra Magpies, West Belconnen and the Orange Barbarians.
In their first match the Girlannas will face off against the Cowra Magpies on Field Two at Tom Clyburn Oval in Canowindra from 11am.
After an outstanding year on the field in 2019 the Grenfell ladies will be looking to go one better this coming season with the Western Challenge the perfect opportunity to step up and start the season off right.
In the ladies second game the Goannas will be facing off against West Belconnen on Field One at 12.40pm.
In their third match the ladies will be on Field 2 at 1.30pm against the Orange Barbarians.
The first semi-final will be played on Field One at 2.45pm between the winner of Pool A vs the winner of Pool B.
The second semi-final on Field One at 3.10pm with the winner of Pool C taking on the Pool D winner.
Field One will then play host to the final of the Western Challenge at 4pm.
