Thank you to Susan and Leann for organising the half time game which appeared to be enjoyed by all.
Over 100 tennis balls were thrown into the pool and only one of the tennis balls was marked with a X.
The person to find that ball would be the proud recipient of a swimming cap signed by James Magnussen.
Congratulations Hugo Fenton.
A massive thank you to everyone who volunteered on Sunday from starter, timekeepers, place judges, marshal, raffle ticket sellers and the helpers in the Club Room (a special mention and thank you to Brad Robinson and Peter Mitton for giving up their time to handle the recalculating and reseeding of teams after each of the races).
Of course the afternoon wouldn't be possible without the business houses sponsoring teams, so thank you to the following sponsors:

Grenfell Women's Bowls
Last Saturday's pennant game against Young No 3 was forfeited due to the fact it would have no bearing on the outcome of the competition.
Sue, Julie H, Sandy, and Rosemary had a very social game of pairs instead.
On Wednesday, Julie H, Sue and Rosemary are going to Cootamundra to attend Ex-Services Presidents Day.
Towning Shield was to be held at Condobolin this month but has unfortunately been concealed due to lack of Regional nominations. Like many competitions, this is another example of or sport falling short of numbers.
Super Singles will be on again Thursday evening and it would be good to see more people playing. You don't have to be a bowling member. Just ring your name into the club by 6pm, play starts at 6.30pm. Come along and have an enjoyable evening.
