The hall committee's Danielle Allen says Rock Till It Rains has been born out of a desire to bring the community together.
"We decided that our community needed something to focus on other than one of the worst droughts in history," she said.
Rock Till it Rains is the result, a night of fun for everyone on Saturday March 14.
The line-up features Jesse and Axl, Wishful Thinking and Weak Cordial from Grenfell, Lusi Austen, Lisa Core Flanagan and Josie Laver from Cowra.
There's a real range of artists, and the opportunity as well an opportunity for some local high school students to jam before the night gets under way.
Tickets to the all ages gig only went on sale on Saturday and Danielle says they've been really well received.
"We are just astounded with the response," Danielle said.
"Since we started selling tickets we have had all these other artists contact us as well."
Jesse from Jesse and Axl says the duo is really looking forward to the night.
"I'm really excited and I think the cause is so great, to unite everyone and come together as a community," he said.
The pair have been performing around town since Grenfell Small Halls brought them together, performing their own take on folk rock and pop covers.
"We just started getting offers and playing around town, which we love," Jesse said.
Tony Barrington from another local band, Wishful Thinking, is also looking forward to the event.
He'll take the stage with Peter Soley on drums and Michael Durant on bass, they've got an extensive and varied set-list ranging from the 1960s through to their own original music.
More on the artists in coming weeks.
Tickets for the night are now on sale at trybooking.com.
Children under 12 are free.
There'll be a barbecue by the Greenethorpe Public P and C and bar run by the hall committee.
