Many of the courses from last year will be available again in term one and there is a wide variety with something sure to suit everyone.
A brief overview of activities:
Patchwork continues to be popular. We will also have the additional opportunity for those who do not own a sewing machine to use one of those available at the hall.
This is a chance to learn how to thread, sew and use a machine if you are wondering if sewing is for you.
Papercrafts will not only include card-making, scrapbooking and colouring but also provide the opportunity to learn how to make bead bracelets.
Gentle exercise is geared to a variety of abilities but aims to increase strength and balance.
Needlework offers tuition in a variety of skills including cross-stitch, tapestry, hardanger and much more, while at crochet and knitting someone is available to help with those tricky craft items.
Cards and board games is a flexible group which is for social enjoyment and games are chosen to suit group interest.
Then of course there is guitar!
If you have a guitar hanging around the house - or if you have read the latest Aldi catalogue - you may like to take this special and very economical opportunity to learn.
The Grenfell Leisure Group is entirely run by volunteers and all new participants, both men and women, are most welcome.
Come along to the Grenfell Uniting Church hall in Camp Street from 10am to midday to join in.
Inquiries, Norma Walker on 6343 1809.
