Grenfell Library to show final movie of the holidays on Wednesday

On Wednesday at 10.15am for a 10.30am start we have the final movie of the holidays. We are showing Dora and The Lost City of Gold. Free entry. Friends of the Grenfell Library will be hosting the candy bar.

There are two weeks left of the summer holidays and the Summer Reading Bingo challenge is almost over. If you have completed the bingo sheet drop it into the library and pick up the extra reading sheet to earn extra tickets in the prize draw at the presentation morning on Saturday 1 February at 10am.

Don't forget those participating in the 1,000 Books Before School program that all completed forms need to be returned to the library by 5pm Friday 31 January to ensure that you receive your certificates at the presentation morning on Saturday 8 February at 10am.

Magazines

A number of new magazine titles received this week and they include Australian Geographic, Australian Photography, Australian House and Garden, Real Living, Taste, Australian Women's Weekly Food, On the Road, Country Style, Science Illustrated, Traces, Instyle, Australian Home Beautiful, Choice Computer and Wartime.

Kids books

Some more kids' books are available this week and they include Star Wars: Beware the Sith; The Secret Life of Droids; Mysteries of the Jedi, The Glimme by Emily Rodda, A Banana is a Banana by Justine Clarke, Pea + Nut by Matt Stanton, Roly Poly by Mem Fox, Twelve Unicorns of Christmas by Timothy Knapman, Pages and Co: Tilly and the Lost Fairy Tales by Anna James and Why I love School.

Fiction books

There are new fiction titles available this week and they include I Confess by Alex Barclay, The Stranger Inside by Lisa Unger, The Chain by Adrian McKinty, Agent Running in the Field by John Le Carre, The Long Call by Ann Cleeves, Cold Storage by David Koepp, Doctor Seep by Stephen King, The Family Gift by Cathy Kelly, The Diamond Hunter by Fiona McIntosh and The Andromeda Evolution by Daniel H Wilson.

Large print books
