Local service station broken into, cash stolen
Police from Grenfell are asking the public for assistance after a local service station in the town was broken in to.
According to police the break and enter occurred at about 11.25pm on Sunday January 5, 2020.
Police said a service station in the Grenfell area was broken into and an amount of cash stolen.
Police have obtained CCTV and the premises has been forensically examined.
"If any members of the community saw a suspicious male or female or suspicious vehicle around Camp Street, Grenfell please contact Grenfell Police Station on 63431222 or CrimeStoppers on 1800333000," police said.
Alleged drug cultivation in Quandialla
Grenfell Police have summoned a Quandialla man to appear in Young Local Court after alleged cannabis plants were located on his property.
According to police at about 2pm on Thursday January 9, 2020 they attended an address in Quandialla to follow up on information received.
Police said they spoke with a 36-year-old man from Quandialla and located a quantity of plants police will allege are cannabis plants.
The male was summonsed to appear before Young Local Court on April 17, 2020.
