Making it two wins in succession after scoring at the recent Narromine meeting, Yeas And Nays owned by the Taylor family from Sydney again had Cowra jockey Mathew Cahill in the saddle for the Wellington assignment, the 1000 metres Quain's Liquor Benchmark 66 Handicap.
Leading from the outset, the six year old chestnut mare Yeas And Nays ( $4 favourite) was a convincing winner by a length and a half from Super Chase (Kacie Chater, $8.50) and Missy Rhythmos (Tony Cavallo, $13).
Gilgandra trainer Bryan Dixon had a winning double, Blinkin Nomore ( Ken Dunbar, $19) and Song One (Qin Yong, $18) while The Launcher ($3.60) created a big impression.
