Possibly the most rewarding race of the night was without doubt race six when the Grenfell trained and driven Holy Camp Rob ($21.00) stormed home to record a 3 3/4 metre win.
Holy Camp Rob came from sixth at the bell and skirted the field at the turn into the straight to gather in early leader Corporal Jujon ($2.30) and Kyle Shannon ($10.00) in a mile rating of 1:59.0.
The win could not come at a better time for popular owner Clive Anderson who has been involved in harness racing for a long time both as an owner, breeder and bookmaker.
Locals are hoping that Holy Camp Rob will continue in his upward form and follow in the footsteps of Holy Camp Clive.
In the second race of the night to feature a Grenfell trained pacer Smoken Alice started favourite in race seven.
After starting from the number one gate Smoken Alice drifted back to be fifth at the bell and ended the night finishing in fifth behind the eventual winner of Swooped To Safety ($5.00) with Safely Under Wraps ($21.00) and Safari Dancer filling the minors.
Race seven was a slowly run race that gave the winner a margin advantage of 3 1/2 metres over his rivals.
