For quite sometime the 11-year-old has been keen to run a stall to raise funds for an organisation that cared for sick people. The willingness to raise money intensified when her maternal grandfather was diagnosed with cancer.
She has focused on the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse organisation where her grandfather is currently receiving treatment for cancer.

Lifehouse is a relatively new State of the Art facility handling 40000 people a year for screening diagnosis or treatment. It is also NSW and one of Australia's biggest cancer clinical trials centres, giving their patients access to the world's newest cancer breakthroughs.
Skye is running a street stall outside IGA on Saturday November 23.
At present she is busy making home-made high quality soap and will also have some delicious lollies and fudge for sale.
There will also there will be some home-made goodies, bric-a-brac, books. Donations will be gratefully accepted (details for tax deduction can be taken if required).
