The 16-year-old halfback or five-eighth was selected following an impressive campaign with the Western Rams during this year's Andrew Johns Cup.
Mawhinney will join the representative squad for a short training camp at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence before departing Sydney on Sunday, November 17.
The two-week tour will include games against the England Community Lions and Leeds Rhinos Academy.
They return home on December 2.
Proud father Trevor Mawhinney said it was a huge thrill for his son.
"He was pretty surprised. It's a good reward for the amount of hard work he's put in. And the reward, which is a tour of the United Kingdom, is pretty special," Trevor Mawhinney said.
Kyle played juniors in Grenfell before last year linking with Parkes after changing schooling to Red Bend Catholic College.
This summer he'll be training with the Western Rams under 18s academy ahead of next year's Laurie Daley Cup competition.
