Well, after a week away and over 90 ends of lawn bowls, you would think our ladies would be bunkered down for the weekend.

I would like to say we were out there training for next years attempt at the State Pennant Trials, but in fact, it was just a fun afternoon in the sun, with plenty of hits and giggles.
That's the great thing about lawn bowls - it can be as competitive or as relaxing as you prefer.
On that note, Rosemary Walter and Kathy Betcher will be heading off to Tamworth on September 9 and 10 for the Women's Bowls NSW State Open Pairs Play-Offs.
Fingers crossed and lots of luck in their endeavours to win a State title.
On a more relaxed side of things, we have our Presidents Day on Saturday September 28.
For our ladies who wish to attend, please put your name on the notice board no later than Friday September 13 September.
Our theme this year is 'Bling Your Black!'
A great opportunity to dust off your tiaras, polish your gold or pop down and support your local Salvo's.
Sometimes baubles ARE better!
I doubt if our gentlemen counterparts will be donning their jewels this weekend, but they also have their Presidents Day on Saturday.
President Andrew Armstrong will no doubt though, have a wonderful day planned.
We hope you all have a great day and once again, thank you for your ongoing support.
Finally, we would like to congratulate Rhys Hughes on his achievements in the NSW CHS secondary bowls Championships, held in Bateau Bay recently.
Keep up the great work Rhys, we are all very proud of you.
It matters not if you are young or old, fit or not so fit, male or female.... lawn bowls is indiscriminate.
If you've been thinking about a new hobby or social activity, there is no time like the present.
Our ladies especially, would love to see some more happy, smiling faces, so feel free to venture down and introduce yourself.
As mentioned previously, there is no initial outlay and lawn bowls can be borrowed.
We also have two top notch coaches, who will gladly show you the ropes, free of charge.
