The Wednesday social golf competition was played in windy conditions with Val Forsyth winning on 33 points from John Grant on 33 points and Steve Grace on 29 points.
Nearest to the pin on the 18th Julie Scott.
Just a reminder that Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday golf starts between 12noon and 1pm.
Unfortunately Greg Hughes's day had to be rescheduled due to extreme weather conditions.
A new date will be advertised shortly.
Next Saturday Grenfell Country Club will be hosting the sand green championship with the grass green second round at Forbes Golf Club.
MEN'S BOWLS
Social Bowls
Freezing and snowy conditions greeted the Grenfell social bowlers with 22 players participating during the week. No bowls Friday or Sunday. The winners were :
- Free games : Nev Coleman and Rob Coleman.
- Vouchers: Max Barr and Col Meyers.
- Chooks: Rod ONeill and John Grogan. This week you needed -five on the second end on even numbered rink. The jackpot was not won this week. Next week the jackpot will be $75.00.
Social bowls commence at 12.30pm with names in by 12 midday Wednesday's, Friday's and Sunday's.
Trivia Night: Each month the trivia night is held to raise money for different local organisations, charities and sport groups. Come and support the community August 23.
