Grenfell.... our lady bowlers wish to extend a huge thank you!
You exceeded our expectations.
You didn't shy away and pretend you didn't see us, you didn't cross to the other side of the street and some of you actually sought us out.
As you are aware, we have been fundraising for our State Pennant play-off trip to Kingscliff and we were truly humbled by your support.
Young six year old Hannah Lynch was the winner of our trailer load of wood (I'm sure her parents were delighted) and we were pleased that our Patron, Meryl Hunter was the winner of our patchwork quilt.
Once again thanks to Ross Hunter, Josh Leichbich, Barry Bradkte and Dave Hancock for their parts in the donation, collection and delivering of the timber. Also to Pat Hodson from Forbes for her lovely quilt.
The winner of our 100 Club was Ray Walter, second was Alison Cutcliffe and third was Sue Robinson.
We currently have a new 100 Club running at the bowling club, so for those of you who are interested, please ask our friendly bar staff.
Ladies, please note that Tuesday Drills, Skills and Coaching has been postponed until the warmer weather returns.
Commencement date to be advised.
Going head to head
Finally, our gentlemen bowlers have kindly offered to match their skills against us this Saturday.
This will be a great opportunity to hone our skills and to practice in our teams.
Due to our AGM starting at 2pm, this session will commence at 10am.
Hope to see you all there.
