We travelled across to Temora for what we knew was going to be a physical match, both teams this year have been very evenly matched so the game was going to swing either way.
Under horrific conditions the boys took the field, the game started at a very fast pace with Jake Taylor, Henry Mitton and Damo Manson letting the Tuskers know they weren't there to muck around.
The first half was very evenly matched with both sides trading try for try and penalty for penalty, at half time we went in down by five points.
The second half started much the same way with the back line showing what they could do, with Scott McKellar, Damian Manson, Jarrad Wilson and Steven Dinham coming together showing that the game definitely wasn't over.
Unfortunately Grenfell got three pretty quick injuries, making it hard for the men now playing out of position. In the end Temora were to good with the final score being 39-23.
The players player award went to Jake Taylor as well as the three points.
Two points went to Will Brown and one point went to Henry Mitton.
This weekend is our last home game as well as sponsors day.
The game will be against the Harden Red Devils and the Grenfell Panthers invite all sponsors and supporters to the last game of the season.
There will be a full bar and canteen so come down for a great afternoon at the rugby.
