In his monthly report to Weddin Shire Council, Environmental Services Director Brendan Hayes said it had been a good month.
"There are some great results there and they continue," Mr Hayes told the council.
"There are a number of dwellings and two or three more just approved.
"The activity around is pretty exciting."
The month's approval included a multi dwelling housing development for the corner of North and Star Street valued at more than $1.8 million.
Dwellings were also approved in Brundah Street and on the Henry Lawson Way.
Applications for sheds were approved in Griffith Street at Greenethorpe, Alexandra and Rose Streets in Grenfell.
