Rehearsals started way back in February with the students working hard on their dancing, singing and acting skills every week, under the expert tutelage of YRSM teacher Emily Calvert.
Parents even got involved providing the stunning sets, props and elaborate costumes while the students brought all of the talent to the stage.
The students ranged from Kindergarten to Year 11 and came from Young, Cowra, Boorowa and Harden to participate.
Those involved made lots of new friends, learned how to work together to produce a quality outcome and improved their singing, dancing and acting skills.
The performances of Beauty and the Beast Junior were all but sold out and the reviews from those in attendance were fantastic.
Congratulations to all involved and we can't wait to see what they Young Regional School of Music brings us again next time!
Boorowa Central, Hennessy Catholic College, Young Public, Young North, Young High, Trinity Catholic Primary, St Raphael's, St Mary's, St Josephs (Boorowa), St Joseph's (Grenfell) and Murringo Public all took part in the production.
