Boys hit out a win as friend taken to hospital due to health issues

Grenfell Goannas Rugby League Football Club won its match up against Manildra on Saturday afternoon at Lawson Park.

A medical emergency caused the cancellation of the Old Boys' game between the Grenfell Dinosaurs and the Quandialla Echidnas but the first grade Goannas managed to push through and concentrate on the game at hand and brought home the win against the Rhinos 34-4.

In the League Tag the ladies also pulled up a win against Manildra 22-10.

In the Youth League the boys fought hard but Manildra were just too good beating them 36-22.

Peak Hill 34 defeated Condobolin 26.

Grenfell 34 pulled up the winners against Manildra 4.

Trundle defeated Eugowra at Trundle.

Molong 32 were too good for Cargo 16.

Canowindra had the bye.
