The annual changeover of the Rotary Club of Grenfell took place at the Grenfell Bowling Club on Wednesday June 19 where Erica Kearnes was inducted as President.

Past president Rotarian Peter Moffitt was chair for this important evening.
Erica and her board were inducted by DG Elect John McKenzie from Orange.
The Rotary Club of Grenfell Board for 2019-2020 is Erica Kearnes President, Ross Craven Secretary, Ray Smith Treasurer, Jill Hodgson Service Projects and Robert Baldwin Membership.
More than fifty people were in attendance including Erica's parents from Sydney, John McKenzie DG Elect from Orange, Julie Poplin Assistant Governor, Mayor Mark Liebich and his wife Bronwyn, members of the Boorowa Rotary Club, Friends of Rotary, President Chris Moran and members of the Grenfell Lions Club and Peter and Judy Spedding representing the Country Education Foundation.
An apology was received from Steph Cooke MP member for Cootamundra.
Immediate Past President Ross Craven thanked his outgoing Board and wished Erica every success in her new role.
He said there have been times when we have had to make some tough decisions after robust discussion, but we have vehemently supported the decisions and the club in moving forward.

Ross said he was looking forward to working together for the year ahead in a different aspect. He has been successful in becoming Area Governor for 2020-2022, covering 14 clubs from Cowra to Griffith/Narrandera.
Erica said it was an honour to be given the opportunity to be President and appreciated the support of club members.
She plans to continue and encourage fellowship and growth of membership, continue to support community and operate closely with Rotary International.
Erica thanked the Senior Music Students; Lucy Rassack, Ethan Reid, Jesse Thompson-Jones, Jeremy Howarth and Connor Day and teacher Brodie McKnight from THLHS who entertained during the evening.
Presentations were made to The Country Education Foundation - $800 and THLHS Science an Engineering Project - $400 plus a Certificate of Appreciation for the hospitality students at THLHS for their assistance at the Rotary District Assembly day.
