Well unfortunately, there are no awards, no certificates, no trophies, no accolades and no smiling photographs this week!
As mentioned in last weeks edition, we travelled to Harden during the week to compete in the Regional Open Fours.
The ladies played to their usual high standard but came across some very stiff competition.
After winning our round on Tuesday, we had high expectations for Wednesday, but unfortunately we were 'out-bowled'.
It was however, a very enjoyable two days.
Many thanks to Harden Bowling Club who provided us with 'Spring' like weather, great greens and lovely lunches.
This Saturday, Grenfell Bowling Club will once again be hosting a District event.
The Kelly Rose Bowl Tournament is a full day of Triples and we will be welcoming players from Young, Harden, Coota Ex Servicemen's and Boorowa Bowling Clubs.
For those of you who may be contemplating lawn bowls as a new, low impact activity or simply looking for a relaxing day out in the sunshine, please feel free to wander down and enjoy our day.
In other news, the Regional Open Pairs Play-Offs are also being played this month with K. Betcher and R. Walter travelling to Wagga on 25th & 26th June.
Good luck ladies!
A reminder to our ladies of our time changes:
Tuesday at 1.30pm Circuit training.
Thursday at 10am social roll up.
Saturday's at 11am Ladies Play Day And finally, a reminder for our monthly meeting to be held on 22nd June at 2pm.
Last but not least, warm wishes to our birthday girl of the week, Ali Cutcliffe.
