On Saturday 22 June we have Australian author Amanda Hampson conducting a writing workshop between 10am and 1pm in the Hub. Places are limited so please ensure that you have booked and paid prior to the event. Open to all ages.
Some great new fiction titles are now available. Titles include Gravity is the thing by Jaclyn Moriarty, The hidden by Mary Chamberlain, The Parisian by Isabella Hammad, The place on Dalhousie by Melina Marchetta, The power game by Meg and Tom Keneally, The strawberry thief by Joanne Harris, The sparkle pages by Meg Bignell, Lost roses by Martha Hall Kelly, Machines like me by Ian McEwan, Identity crisis by Ben Elton and Stillwater creek by Alison Booth.
A few new magazine titles are available for loan and they include Gardening Australia, Real Living, Australian Country and Central West Lifestyle.
A number of new talking book titles are available including the new Playaway collection that only need a headphones to listen to the story. Titles include The promise by Teresa Driscoll, Killer thriller by Lee Goldberg, Illegal by Eoin Colfer and Judy Moody mood martian by Megan McDonald.
A number of new nonfiction titles are available, and they include The Maria Korp case by Carly Crawford, The mindful kind by Rachael Kable, Jamie's Friday night feast cookbook, The Australian Women's weekly lunch box, Madeleine by Kate McCann, Justice denied by Robin Bowles, Early pioneers from Grenfell & the Weddin Shire 1866-1916 by Peter Grossman.
The latest large print titles are now available, and they include Someone knows by Lisa Scottoline, The department of sensitive crimes by Alexander McCall Smith, Maggie's garden by Noelene Jenkinson, Overkill by Vanda Symon, The town by Shaun Prescott and The secrets she keeps by Michael Robotham.
Some great new DVD titles are available for loan this week and they include Dirty dancing, Broken arrow, Hanover Street, The Queen, It's complicated and Eddie and the cruisers.
