The Festival Committee is pleased to announce that Eugowra local Kim Storey will be the official judge for the 2019 Henry Lawson Festival photography competition.
Kim runs her own photography business, Avalind Photography, specialising in family, commercial and farming photography.
Kim is also the author of the beautiful coffee table book titled, "What does a farmer look like", featuring farmers from all walks of life from wool producers to oyster farmers.
Kim is also an accredited photographer with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography.
Competition Coordinator, Tina Cooper said "We are delighted to have Kim on board as our official judge.
"Kim has a strong connection to rural communities and farming life. And she's a local!
"We are really lucky to have such a talented professional judging our entrants."
There are four categories open to judging this year with prize money for first, second and third in all categories, and the statuette for the overall winner:
1. Ode to Winter, Colour - Adult
2. Ode to Winter, Monochrome - Adult
3. Open - Adult
4. Open - Junior
Entries for the Henry Lawson Festival 2019 photography competition close on Friday May 24 at 5pm.

The Visitor Information Centre, located inside the Grenfell Hub in Main Street, is the drop off point for entries as well.
