In a departure from tradition, Entertainment Officer, Gwen Clark announced the Guest Speakers for May 20, due to the important information that will be provided by Wendy Scott, Manager of Assessment Services for Aged Care and Debra Tooley, Manager of District Aged Care Services for the Western Area.

These ladies are travelling from Parkes and all interested persons are invited to attend to learn as much as possible about the Services that are vital to our Age Group.

Secretary Halleen Schaefer read the minutes of the March meeting, followed by correspondence which included a request to contribute to seeking approval for a grant to relocate Memorial names at the Cenotaph to a higher level to improve accessibility for elderly people.

Treasurer Brian McDonald gave the Treasurer's report and Eunice Clarke won the draw for birthday of the month, after Social Secretary Rosalie White read Birthdays and Wedding anniversaries.

Advance notice was given to members that the Birthday luncheon this year will be held on Monday September 30.
