This week I am introducing to you the new microfilm reader in the family history room. This allows you to read the old Grenfell Record up to the end of 1992. The reader is now attached to a computer which allows you to save articles to a usb or print them without having to print or save the entire page.

The school holidays are continuing this week with a movie on Friday April 26 at 1.45pm for a 2pm start we are showing Mary Poppins Returns. To ensure a seat please book via the Library for the session. These are free and FOGL will be hosting the candy bar.
If you know of anyone aged 65 and over who would like to learn how to use a computer, online banking, online shopping, sharing photos, etc please let them know that we are running free classes. Bookings are required but they are free.
Library & Information Week is coming up in May and we will be hosting National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday 22 and the Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 23. So please support your library by attending or donating.
A number of new magazine titles are available for loan. They include Choice, Marie Claire, Diabetic Living, Country Style, Australian Home Beautiful, Tech Life, Taste, Double Helix, Instyle and Science Illustrated.
A few new large print titles are available, and they include The vigilance man by Fenton Sadler, Terror in tombstone by Paul Bedford, The novel art of murder by VM Burns, A wrench in the works by Kate Carlisle, Catch me if Yukon by Maddy Hunter and Money in the morgue by Ngaio Marsh.
A number of new nonfiction titles are available, and they include Bolder: making the most of our longer lives by Carl Honore and 12 ways your child can get the best out of school by Adrian Piccoli plus more.
The latest fiction titles are now available, and they include Now we shall be entirely free by Andrew Miller and The mother-in-law by Sally Hepworth plus more.
