Trained at Parkes by Sharon Jeffries, Rehanaat in 2018 was ridden by William Pearson when winning the Cup from Sergeant Bilko and one of tomorrow's rivals, Dream On Stan.

Leading jockey Maddison Wright is travelling from the far south coast to ride Rehanaat which has a near perfect record at Picnic meetings.

Rehanaat has won Picnic races at Nyngan (twice), Grenfell, Quambone, Cobar and Condobolin with the only defeat being when midfield in the $50,000 Picnic Championship Final at Dubbo last year.

Overall, Rehanaat has won 10 races and been placed 9 times from 48 starts with 4 of the wins being at Professional meetings.

Sharon Jeffries also has a good record to defend at Grenfell being the trainer of a winning treble, All Good, Armedanddangerous and Rehanaat at the 2018 meeting.

Multiple premiership winning trainer Trevor Sutherland from Wagga Wagga has a strong team engaged tomorrow including the well performed Dream On Stan to be ridden in the Cup by the talented Jody Hughes.

Dream On Stan won the the recent Ardlethan Picnic Cup and then finished third behind Canberra gallopers Southern Gamble and Salerno in the Cootamundra Picnic Cup last Saturday.

Southern Gamble and Salerno are final acceptors for Grenfell along with several other good prospects for the Cup.

Continuing the tradition of offering unique bonuses for appreciative owners and trainers, Grenfell will have prizes for several categories including Best Presented horse in each race, Fuel vouchers for trainers in Lucky Draws and even a prize for the last horse home in every race!

Racegoers also have the opportunity to watch on screens around the course, the farewell race at Royal Randwick for the world champion racehorse, Winx.

The first race in Grenfell will start at 1.30pm. The feature race, (Race number 5) The Doug Allen Memorial Grenfell Picnic Cup, is at 4pm. Be a part of the action and bring the family along for a terrific day of racing.
