Whether you have lived in Grenfell your whole life, or are new to town, you are most welcome to come along and find out more about what is involved.
The local Salvation Army provide hope where it is needed most, assisting those in need no matter the demographic or age group. They not only provide financial assistance but offer support in a range of services including aged care, employment, domestic violence, legal and youth support and so much more.
The Grenfell store, located in Main Street, is open each weekday from 10am – 4pm. If you are feeling isolated, or just need a chat, the door is always open and you will be warmly greeted, or if you would just like to pop in and make a donation please feel free.
The Grenfell Salvos also hold a furniture sale every Wednesday and Thursday at the Salvation Army Hall, located in George Street next to the new Grenfell TAFE from 10am - 3pm.
On the second Wednesday of each month they host a ‘Kingdom Table’ where residents can come along and enjoy a cooked lunch at no cost from 11.30am – 1.30pm.
During the 3rd and 4th Wednesday of each month you are welcome to join the group for coffee and cake, or even just a chat, 11am –2pm.
A service is held in the Salvation Army Church, adjacent to the hall, each Sunday from 10am, all are welcome to attend.
