An enthusiastic number of social bowlers played last week in cooler conditions with 30 players participating, the winners were:
Chooks – Gary Pipe, John Dumbrell and Andrew Armstrong.
Vouchers – Dave Hancock, Rob Chambers and Dave Frost.
Free games – Nev Coleman, John Grogan and Nev Coleman.
Jackpot
This week you needed +2 on the 16th end on an even numbered rink. The jackpot was not won. Next week's jackpot is $398.00.
Competition News
Thursday night a trial pennants was played against Quandialla in the 4s and Caragabal in the 6s with the Grenfell 4s winning and the 6s being beaten.
Sunday three teams travelled to Cowra to contest in a pennant trial losing all three matches.
Andrew Armstrong, Warren Paine and Dave Hancock played at Woodstock Presidents day on Sunday coming in second on the day.
Next weekend a number of Grenfell players will contest the singles district championships.
PONY CLUB –
Grenfell Pony Club will hold it’s first rally day for 2019 this Saturday February 16. This will be a twilight rally starting at 5pm in the arena at the showground.

BRUMBIES DEVELOPMENT CAMPS
Australian institute of Sport
High quality training camp based on developing player skills and abilities. Experience a high-quality training regime based around a professional environment like that of a professional player.
Session will include expert coaching in all areas of the game as well as individual, positional, unit and team-based skills.
All camps will be run over 3 days with access to state-of-the-art facilities at the Australian Institute of Sport Canberra.
UNDER 18’S DEVELOPMENT CAMP
Girls aged 16 to 18 (Born between 2001 and 2003)
• April 13 to 15
• Two nights of accommodation and meals provided
• Training kit will be provided
UNDER 17’S DEVELOPMENT CAMP
Boys aged 15 to 17 (Born between 2002 and 2004)
• April 16 to 18
• Two nights of accommodation and meals provided
• Training kit will be provided
The camps will provide players with the avenue to learn and develop their Rugby skills from both Plus500 Brumbies and Super W coaches.
Live the life of a professional player while being mentored by our very own Plus500 Brumbies players and Super W Squad with specialist coaching from level 2, 3 and 4 coaches in structured training sessions.

HARNESS RACING –
WRAS to run Harness Racing Education Program:
The Western Region Academy of Sport will run a Harness Racing Education Program in Bathurst on Saturday and Sunday March 16 and 17, 2019.
This program will consist of theory and practical education sessions run over 2 days and is aimed at junior drivers (aged 11-17) within the Western Region of NSW.
This education program is supported and endorsed by Harness Racing NSW and is free of charge for participating drivers. To apply go to the WRAS website www.wras.org.au and complete the enrolment form or call the WRAS office 6338 4821.
