Pat Brus forfeited to Julie Wood.
Sue Gault played Rosemary Walter.
Sue played good, consistent bowls and defeated Rosemary winning thru to the next round.
In this round S Gault plays J Wood, K Betcher plays J McAlister, A Cutcliffe plays C Hunter, and S Paine plays S Ingall.
Please notify R Walter when intending to play a game.
On Saturday morning February 9, Judy McAlister and Sue Gault played Sonia Ingall and Rosemary Walter.
On the 5th end Sonia and Rosemary hit the front and stayed there until the end.
Our meeting was held at 5pm.
Things of note at the outcome of the meeting are as follows:
Our delegate Pat Reid, after some years of service has resigned the position due to family reasons.
Pat was thanked for her dedication by acclamation.
President Kathy will continue on in the role.
Our new bowls shirts are in and available over the bar.
The draw for District Championships are on our board.
Following the meeting, a game of mixed pairs and triples was enjoyed by players.
Dot Fitzpatrick played her first game and had a lovely time.
She said she appreciated the friendship and help she received from everyone.
Especially the applause and cheers when she got a resting toucher "The crowd went wild".
Sunday morning saw three singles championships played.
Our championships are going at a pace, J Wood defeated S Gault,
K Betcher defeated J McAlister and S Paine defeated S Ingall.
All games were played in good spirits and good bowls on all rinks.

Social bowls again Saturday evening. New players are always most welcome to join us.
