Event organiser, Weddin Shire Arts and Tourism Officer Claire McCann, said she was impressed with the number of houses that have displayed Christmas decorations this year.
“Congratulations to everyone who has decorated their house, a huge effort was put in by many and it was such a delight to show the towns pride and Christmas spirit to the out of town judge” said Claire.
The competition judge was equally as impressed and said it was a tough job choosing just three winners.
“It was very impressive to see the effort that households went to with their displays. I was particularly impressed with the streets that had more than one house decorated, what a great way to get into the Christmas spirit,
“I had a tough job of choosing a top three, the competition was very close to the point where we did multiple drive bys,
“Congratulations to all the winners and to the Grenfell community that got involved; the town looks to be full of Christmas cheer!” said the judge.
If you would like to go for a drive to have a look for yourself then the following streets should not be missed.
