Management and volunteers at the Grenfell Food Hall would like to advise members of the public that we will be closed over the festive season from Friday December 28, 2018 and will re open on Friday January 18, 2019.
The Food Hall will offer $5, $10 and $15 to our customers on December 14 and 21 to help our valued customers through Christmas.
We now have hampers available to give farmers within the Weddin Shire who are doing it tough with the drought continuing on.
These hampers have been graciously donated by Foodbank in Sydney who want to help farming families with food and household items.
If you know of anyone who might be struggling now or into next year, please contact Joan Cations on 02 63431235 and we can help.
Details of recipients will be kept in strict confidence.
The Food Hall, in conjunction with a generous donation from the Grenfell Gunyah Craft Shop, have hampers to give to our town people who may also be experiencing difficult times.
Part of the Food Hall’s Mission is to display the love of Jesus as we provide a valuable resource to members of our community by offering food assistance to individuals and families.
We also have our Christmas hampers for sale for the low cost of $20, we also have a special Family/Children’s hamper for $10 which can be given as a gift to a family or divided and given separately.
The Grenfell Food Hall is situated in the Anglican Church Hall next to the church in Middle St.
Members of the Grenfell and Weddin Shire community are welcome and encouraged to come and register at the Food Hall.
We look forward to seeing you and we will warmly welcome and respect you and invite you to stay and have morning tea with us.
On behalf of all the volunteers we would all like to wish everyone a very happy and blessed Christmas and we pray that 2019 will be a great year for all.
Many thanks for your continued support during the year.
