The fun filled day included a number of exciting activities such as horse riding, dance disco, camp stories, orange bobbing, pass the parcel, drawings and more.
The children had a wonderful time whilst also raising money for the ‘Need for Feed’ drought relief organisation which assists struggling farmers in drought affected areas.
Pre-school director Sharon Grant was delighted to announce that the children had raised $227.30 throughout the day that will be donated to the ‘Need for Feed’ organisation.
“We all had a terrific time during our fundraising day which included a number of fun activities that the children enjoyed, they were so thrilled to learn that they had helped raise money to assist our drought affected Aussie farmers,” said Mrs Grant.
Once all of the funds were collected the children presented Chris Moran, president of the Grenfell Lion’s Club, with the big bag of cash which Lions will pass on to the ‘Need for Feed’ organisation.
