Grenfell is coming together on White Ribbon Day November 21, 2018 to end violence against women and children in our community.
As a community, we play a vital role in standing up, speaking out and ending all forms of violence against women.
Elly Schiller, Chairperson for Voices Against Violence said we set the standard for acceptable behaviour.
“If we can teach children from a young age about respect, this will transpire through the ages,” Elly said.
“If we can set the standard for respectful behaviour and gender equality in the community, at home and in the workplace, we can eliminate violence against women and children. We do this by standing up, speaking out and acting when it comes to violence against women.
If we can set the standard for respectful behaviour and gender equality in the community, at home and in the workplace, we can eliminate violence against women and children.
